Shin Brook Falls

Shin Brook Falls is one of the most spectacular falls in Maine. While located in remote northern Maine, this waterfall still gets its fair share of visitors. There are three drops, but the final 30-foot drop is easily the most spectacular as this horsetail topples over rows of rock shelves.
A word of warning: The trail leading to the base of this waterfall is sheer at times and is not recommended for small children. Part of the trail network leads to a relatively easy spur to the upper falls where you are able to look down upon the main falls.
Please keep in mind that this waterfall is on Private Property, although it is currently open to the Public. Leave no trace on your way in or out to keep this beautiful Waterfall accessible to all.
