Gulf Hagas

Commonly referred to as “The Grand Canyon of Maine”, Gulf Havas is a slate gorge carved by the West Branch of the Pleasant River near Brownville. This natural feature is a Registered National Landmark and is part of the Appalachian Trail. There are several named and unnamed waterfalls in Gulf Hagas and my only trip was cut short by storms, so this page will grow on my next visit.
