Bickford Slides

Tucked between Blueberry Mountain and Sugarloaf Mountain, Bickford Slides has three distinct waterfalls.
You begin your hike along the Bickford Brook Trail which starts at the Bricket Place lot just inside the White Mountain National Forest on Route 113 outside of Stow, Maine
The Lower Slides are just downstream of your first contact with Bickford Brook. The lower Slides walls are extremely dangerous and it is not recommended that you attempt to explore the ravine.
The Middle slides are the most scenic and feature a 5-foot deep pool which is refreshing to swim in.
The upper falls are just above the Middle slides and feature a few small drops and a small pool about 3 feet deep. It’s very pretty, but many agree that the trek up to the upper falls is just not worth it.
