Arethusa Falls (NH)

Arethusa Falls is considered to be the tallest single-drop waterfall in New England that is trail accessible. Estimated at 160-feet, the beauty of this waterfall is difficult to capture in print and should be experienced first-hand. The Fall is located at the end of a 1.7 mile hike that should be rated medium difficulty due to the elevation gain. On your way back to the lot, you should also consider visiting Bemis Falls and Coliseum Falls which are on the less-traversed Bemis Brook Trail, which loops back to the Arethusa Falls Trail close to the trailhead.
